A traffic stop on Sunday March 24th ended with two people behind bars.
On Sunday evening Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by two people with no visible license plate.
Officers conducted their traffic stop and were given consent to search the occupants and the vehicle. Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered during the search.
Jerry Evans and Diana Ellerfritz both of Lynn were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance meth/cocaine.
Both were arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center.
Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was requested to the scene to remove the vehicle.
