A Craighead County Judge has found probable cause on Friday to charge a Bono man for sexually assaulting a child.
According to court documents, Dillon Lafayette Adams, age 19, of Bono, was arrested and is currently being held on a $35,000 bond in the Craighead County Detention Center.
Arkansas State Police’s Crimes Against Children Division Investigators were told by the victim that Adams had inappropriately touched the victim while staying at their home two years ago.
Jonesboro PD was contacted by CACD which arranged an interview with the suspect.
Adams told investigators that it was possible he touched the victim while he was still asleep.
Adams was charged with second-degree sexual assault.
Along with the $35,000 bond, the judge ordered that Adams to have no contact with the victim.
