We spoke to Imboden Mayor Chris Jones concerning the new facility that will serve as City Hall.
The building formerly occupied by the Imboden Area Charter School will now house the Imboden City Hall. The facility will include business offices in the front, a chamber for the City Council and a Community Room that will hold up to 48 people.
Mayor Jones stated the city is adding a full time employee to the office staff.
The City Council has already held its first meeting at the new facility located at 605 West 3rd Street.
Excavation work around the facility is being completed by BTB Excavation and Hauling of Imboden.
Once completed, business hours of operation and information on the community room will be updated on the city’s website.
