Walnut Ridge authorities are reporting a high school student was killed on Thursday morning in a two-vehicle accident.
The fatal accident occurred shortly after 11:00am on Hwy 412 East at Walnut Ridge.
Walnut Ridge Police, Walnut Ridge Fire, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Medic One were all requested to the scene.
Authorities report the crash involved a pickup truck and a dump truck, Hwy 412 was closed for 3 hours.
Walnut Ridge Police are conducting the investigation.
No names have been released at this time.
