David Lyle Baker, 59, of Imboden passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born September 28, 1964 in Jonesboro to the late J.L. and Eunice Bonham Baker. He was an electric motor mechanic, electrician, and attended Sutton Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.L. and Eunice Baker; sisters, Deborah Ann Baker Griggs and Donna Baker Dacus; brother, Larry Edward Baker; and special uncle and aunt, Bert and Dessie McGowan.
David is survived by his wife, Donna Kay McMullin Baker; son, Shawn David Baker; three grandchildren, Caiden, Silas, and Sawyer; step-daughter, Andrea (Jeff) Roark; step-grandchildren, Kyle, Karson, and Knox (on the way); special cousins, Janna Howard, Jackie Sue Hale, Jenner McGowan, and Clinton McGowan; special nephew, Rickey Joe Milsap; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2024 from 10-11 AM at Sutton Free Will Baptist Church with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM with Kevin Barnett and James Strait officiating. Burial will follow in Sutton Cemetery.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Wayne Hale, Chris Baker, Jeff Roark, Kyle Roark, Karson Roark, and Ronnie Suttles.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Rickey Joe Milsap, Jerry Howard, Clinton McGowan, and Rick Hopkins.
