Rickey Wayne McGonigal, 74 of Black Rock passed away January 10, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Born December 27, 1949, in Alicia, to the late Wesley and Arlene Baney McGonigal. He was a truck driver and loved old classic cars, he enjoyed restoring and rebuilding them. He is a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold McGonigal and Leroy Young; and a sister, Hilda Branham.
Survivors include two daughters, Gina (Scott Maronde) Anglin of Black Rock, and Ginger (Kendel) Atkinson of Hoxie; four grandchildren, Justin (Kayla) Anglin, Hannah (Derek Sluder) Anglin, Remi Atkinson, and Payton Ditto; four great grandchildren, Emery Kate Anglin, Ryker Allen Sluder, Lilyann Grace Sluder, and soon to be, Tripp Jackson Anglin; one brother, Gary (Sandy) McGonigal of Portia; three sisters, Linda (Jerry) Mann of Walnut Ridge, Eva (Donnie) Davidson of Atoka, TN, and Glenda (Owen) Smith of Nixa, MO; his significant other, Avalon Shipman; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia. Pallbearers will be Justin Anglin, Payton Ditto, Scott Maronde, Tony Anglin, Kendel Atkinson, Chris Ditto, and Derek Sluder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Davidson, Gary McGonigal, Delbert Robbins, and Tim Hibbard.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. till 2:30 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel.
