Wayne Raymond Kemper, 77 of Imboden, died January 6, 2024, at his residence.

Born April 8, 1946, in Pollard; son of the late George and Era Mae Crews Kemper. He was united in marriage to Annie Rachel Treatenburg on July 8, 1967. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was well known for building houses and being a skilled Carpenter. He also loved raising animals on his farm, cattle, horses, goats, and chickens. He was a past president of the Birdell Saddle Club.

He is preceded by his parents; five sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Annie of the home; special dog, “his little girl” Peppy; two sisters, Loel Collier and Mary Duplechin; thirteen nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024; at 12 P.M. in the Fairview Cemetery near Imboden with Bro. Larry Rogers officiating.
