Ola Mae Erwin graduated this life at 81 years young in Jonesboro, Arkansas on Thursday, November 23, 2023. She was born in Mountain Grove, Missouri on October 1, 1942, to Jesse and Ona Long Leach. Ola Mae married the love of her life, Donald Erwin on the 16th of August 1968 in Nashville Tennessee where she attended Free Will Baptist Bible College. She loved the simple things in life, the beauty of nature, family, friends and neighbors. She enjoyed crafts, butterflies, birds, and all small pets. She was a faithful Christian and served at several local churches.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her four brothers: Everett, Fred, Norman, and Oscar Leach; and two sisters: Agnas Lucas and Ellen Keith.
Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Donald Erwin; son: David (Mira) Erwin; brothers: Charley and George Leach; sister: Rosemary Stevens; granddaughter: Sonya (Murphy) Danahy; two grandsons: Jason (Lindsey) Erwin and Mickey Erwin; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Old Lebanon Cemetery on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Trent Kirksey officiating. House-Gregg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
