The Black Rock Police Department has received a grant from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety for equipment additions and upgrades according to Chief Bryan Archer.
Chief Archer stated the grant was fully funded and totaled $31,443.25 to be used by the department to upgrade and add needed equipment to the department.
Additions and upgrades include medical bags for all three Black Rock Police vehicles, portable finger print scanners, portable radios and PBT (portable breathalyzer test) for the department.
