Jimmy Ray Meadows, 77 of Strawberry, died suddenly November 24, 2023, at his residence.
Born November 28, 1945, in Black Rock; son of the late Oscar and Bessie Savage Meadows. He worked as a Welder and Timber Cutter. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, hauling junk, listening to George Jones and routing for the Steelers.
He is preceded by his parents; and four siblings.
Survivors include his daughter, Mattie Romanyshyn (Bill) of North Dakota; two sons, Clinton Ray Meadows (Joy) of Strawberry and Brian Meadows (Erin) of Minnesota; three granddaughters, Samantha, Valerie, and Minna; his ex-wife, Debbie Close of North Dakota; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 1:30 P.M. till 3 P.M. in the Stone School House near Cord. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
