Annie Arlene Lawson, 86, of Walnut Ridge, died October 31, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Born December 27, 1936, in Sedgwick; daughter of the late Rev. Henry and Margie Morris Lakey. She was united in marriage to Richard Lawson in 1985. She worked in a factory and was a loving wife and homemaker. She loved gardening and growing flowers; she was known to some as the Garden Lady of Lawrence County.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard on 2016; her loving daughter, Rhonda Sue Trigg; one granddaughter, Brandy Trigg; two brother, Ernest (Man) and Cecil Lakey; and a sister, Louetta Acher; and many other relatives and friends. 

Survivors include three daughters, Tersa Marlene Hon of Walnut Ridge, Carrie Gutshall (Chuck) of Walnut Ridge, and Cynthia Shalene Pope (Kerry) of Bono; one son, Brian Hon (Tara Stafford) of Walnut Ridge; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Dixie Rice (Jr) of Powhatan, and Sue Taylor of Paragould; and many other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Service will be Friday, November 3, 2023; at 11 A.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Craig Lee and Rev. Dorian Gregory officiating. Pallbearers will be Chuck Gutshall, Brian Hon, Michael McGonigal, Jay Smith, Ben Stone, and Chris Fausz. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary McGonigal, Kerry Pope, Chris Smith, Clint and Kenny Trigg. Interment will follow in the Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick. 

Visitation will be Thursday, 5 P.M. till 7 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel.
