Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports an arrest warrant was issued for Jonathan Lynn, 30 of Marshfield Missouri, for two counts of theft of property, both class “C” felonies.
On October 3rd, 2023, a complaint was made about a stolen goose neck trailer and a Komatsu dozer from a farm off of the Pleasant Grove Road near Bandmill. The trailer and dozer were on different parts of the property, over a half mile apart. The victim in the case was able to provide information as to a suspect, Jonathan Lynn. The complainant stated Lynn had worked for him in the past and knew where the trailer and the dozer were located.
During the investigation, it was learned that Lynn was back in Missouri. Investigators began working with law enforcement officials in Missouri to assist in looking for the missing items as well as Lynn.
On October 12th, Officers with the Webster County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri were able to locate the Komatsu dozer at a residence within their county. Officers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were able to locate the trailer in Carthage Missouri. Reports show Lynn to have been in possession of both.
On October 23rd, Lynn was charged in connection with this case. Lynn is currently incarcerated in the Dallas County Missouri Jail.
Sheriff Melton said, “The Izard County Sheriff’s Office is very appreciative of the teamwork by all law enforcement that led to these stolen items being recovered and an arrest warrant issued.”
