It’s official, a route has been chosen for the Future Interstate 57 corridor between Walnut Ridge and the Missouri State Line.
The Federal Highway Administration issued a Record of Decision (ROD) identifying the Selected Alternative, or chosen route, for the Future Interstate 57 (I-57) corridor between Walnut Ridge and the Missouri State line, clearing the way for the next phase of project development.
This afternoon, U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Division Administrator Vivien Hoang, Arkansas Highway Commission Chairman Alec Farmer, and Arkansas Department of Transportation Director Lorie Tudor signed the Record of Decision — making it official. Local representatives from our U.S. Congressional Delegation were present for the signing.
