A murder that occurred in 1991 in Fulton County has been solved according to investigators.

19-year-old Sabrina Underwood of Huntsville Arkansas was murdered 32 years ago.

State Police received information in July from the Madison County Sheriff’s office that an attorney had told them that one of his clients had information about the murder.

The client stated that he had been housed with Rick Headley at the Varner Unit of the Arkansas Department Of Corrections and allegedly Headley had told him in detail about the murder.

Investigators interviewed Headley who confessed to the crime, telling investigators of what happened.

According to the suspect, Underwood had been hitchhiking and he picked her up. Headley then took her to the cemetery on Gum Road in Fulton County and had sex with her before killing her.

Headley was interviewed in prison where he is serving a sentence for another murder in 2019.

Headley is currently being housed in the Varner Unit.

Headley will be in Fulton County Court on November 13th.
