Jackson County Sheriff Russell Brinsfield posted a notice today concerning the upcoming Halloween festivities and registered sex offenders.
Sheriff Brinsfield’s post breaks down levels of offenders and what activities are restricted.
Level 3 & 4 offenders CAN NOT participate in any Halloween related activities according to AR Code Ann. 5-14-135.
According to the Sheriff’s post, this will include Halloween themed events held between October 17th and November 14th.
The Sheriff’s Office will be monitoring and enforcing this policy stating a violation of this section is a felony.
