Authorities report a Batesville man died around 8:50 am Thursday morning after a two-vehicle accident in Independence County.
Arkansas State Police Fatality Report stated that Tim Lindsey, age 67, was killed after the moped he was driving north on Highway 69 was struck in the rear by a Ford Expedition, also traveling north.
The ASP report said both vehicles came to a final rest facing north, in the center of the highway.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident.
