Friday evening, July 14th, Baxter County Sheriff’s Sergeant Jamie Binnion escaped potential serious injury when the Sheriff’s Office truck he was driving was hit by a large falling tree.
Sergeant Binnion was responding to a tree down and blocking Promise Land Road after a severe thunderstorm came through Baxter County.
While turning around, a large tree fell across the truck and severely damaged it. Fortunately, Sergeant Binnion was not injured in the incident.
