Arkansas State Police are reporting that three people were killed, including two from Baxter County in an accident in Carrol County on Wednesday.
The Arkansas State Police report that 46-year-old Michael Weiss and 44-year-old Amy Weiss both from Cotter were killed along with 20-year-old Abigal Cox from Fishers and four other people were injured.
The injured include 18-year-old Caleb Crow of Dallas, 19-year-old Joshua Case of Grapevine, 19-year-old Tiki Braner of Georgetown, and 19-year-old Joel Tibbits of Wake Forest.
The ASP says that the accident happened when Michael Weiss crossed into the path of the vehicle that Crow was driving.
The injured were taken to White River Medical Center and North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S. 62 near county road 902 in Carroll County.
