The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported that on June 29, 2023, at 7:01 pm The Clay County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call of a 17-year-old juvenile had been injured while shooting fireworks at the St. Francis River Bridge at St. Francis.
The Sheriff’s Department, Piggott Fire Responders, and St. Francis First Responders were dispatched.
Upon arrival the youth was found to have serious injuries to his right hand.
Air Evac was called and he was transported to The Med in Memphis.
