Joshua James Ray Donley of Pocahontas was sentenced to five years in prison after he entered a guilty plea, admitting to child pornography charges.

Court records show that Third Judicial Circuit Judge Rob Ratton sentenced Joshua James Ray Donley, age 39 to 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections with 60 months of suspended imposition of sentence (SIS) on one count of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Judge Ratton sentenced Donley to 120 months SIS on a second child pornography charge according to records.

Once Donley completes his sentence and is released from the ADC, Donley will have to register as a sex offender and pay all court costs.

Donley admitted during an interview with Pocahontas Police Department investigators to “having a problem with watching child pornography.”

When questions about how long he had this problem, Donley told investigators “probably 10 years.”
