On Saturday, July 1 and Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., park staff will teach participants how to preserve food through canning. Staff will discuss the history of canning and give tips for making canning easy. Participants will leave with a sample canned good made at the workshop. Both the July 1 and July 15 workshops will cover the same topics. Visitors can sign up for one or both sessions. The registration fee is $25 per workshop. Space is limited.
