Evelyn “Clarice” Hutton Hill, 90 of Moulton, Alabama, died June 23, 2023, in the North Alabama Medical Center.
Born June 4, 1933, in Chillicothe, Ohio; daughter of the late, John Gilbert and Vera Freda Quickel Hutton. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. Clarice loved children and was a foster mother for 23 kids. She enjoyed making quilts by hand and attending her Baptist church.
She is preceded by her parents; her first husband, Rufus Edgar Hill; her second husband, Ceburn Christopher; and four brothers, Curtis, Dennis, Dean and Bob.
Survivors include her children, Clyde Hill of Walnut Ridge, and Roxann (David) Frost of Moulton, AL; two stepsons, Devon (Theresa) Christopher, and Dewan (Pam) Christopher; two grandchildren, Colonel John S. (U.S.A. Ret) (Erin) Combs of Fayetteville, Haley (Jason) Anthes of Stanwood, WA; fifteen great grandchildren, Owen, Bronwen, Vaughn, Harper, Simon, Rivers, Lily, Jackson, Ella Claire, Sadie, Analeigh, Brinley, Adalyn, Cannon and Carson; two sisters, Bonita Lisiecki and Cheryl Dowell; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 11 A.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Ron Langston officiating. Pallbearers will be Owen and Bronwen Anthes, Harper and Simon Combs, Jackson Houseal and Hannah Rainwater. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be from 10 A.M. till 11 A.M.
