The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a two year old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday afternoon in Thayer.
According to the report the child was hit on private property in county road 270 near Thayer.
The child was reportedly struck by Veronica Martin age 31, as she was backing up.
The child was taken to Ozarks Healthcare where he reportedly passed away.
The incident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol.
