Elizabeth Mitchell, 95 of Jonesboro, died May 29, 2023, at her residence.
Born November 12, 1927, in Walnut Ridge; daughter of the late, Rufford Brooking Rozelle and Lottie Pearl Rice. She was a service representative for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over thirty years. She enjoyed spending time with her lady friends touring flee markets. Her favorite thing was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and her great grands that were her everything. Elizabeth had a strong faith in the Lord and was of the Baptist faith. She loved to ask “Do you know Jesus?” & “Do you know him the right way?”
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Davis of Jonesboro; a son, Tony Mitchell (Sherri) of North Port, FL; three grandchildren, Deana Brassfield (Michael), Michael Davis (Haley), and Mark McMullen (Grace); seven great grandchildren, Davis, Emerson and Jasper Callahan, Eli and Madeline Davis, Nora and Naomi McMullen; one brother, Jim Rozelle (Marty) of Michigan; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 10 A.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge with Bro. Maurice Hitt officiating.
