Baxter County is reporting a man accused of breaking into a home came face-to-face with an armed homeowner.
Deputies arrested Braydan Anthony Sisk age 29 of Mountain Home early Thursday, May 25th on residential burglary and criminal trespass charges.
Baxter County Deputies were called to a home in the 5000 block of Hwy 5 South just after 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, Sheriff Montgomery stated deputies found the homeowner holding the suspect at gunpoint.
The resident told deputies he was asleep when his barking dogs woke him up.
When he got up and turned on the lights, according to a news release, the man found Sisk standing inside his residence.
The homeowner was armed and held the intruder at gunpoint while waiting for deputies to arrive.
Authorities say Sisk admitted that he had also entered into a camper that was on the property.
Sisk was arrested and is being held on a $25,000 bond awaiting arraignment.
Sisk is currently on parole and has at least five prior convictions for felony crimes according to Sheriff Montgomery.
Sisk is also charged with a parole violation and as a habitual offender.
