Archie John Harden, 91 of Walnut Ridge, went to his heavenly home, May 10, 2023, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center.
Born May 23, 1931, in Clarendon; son of the late, John Wesley Harden and Daisy Lillian Rowe. He was united in marriage to Aileen Virginia Lovelady in April of 1951. Archie served his country in the Air Force and Army National Guard. He was a Master Machine Mechanic at John Deere Tractor Company and later became self employed with H & L Repairs. He was a hard worker, always working on some project, wood crafting, painting, cooking, gardening, repairing, and fixing things. He was a kind and friendly man, enjoyed helping his neighbors and loved his family. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
He is preceded in death by his parents; John Harden and Daisy Cullins; one son, Rickey Jay Harden; many half siblings and friends.
Survivors include wife, Aileen; a son, Johnny (Petra) Harden of Karlsruhe, Germany; a daughter, Susan (Harold) Lady of Walnut Ridge; six grandchildren, Brigham Harden, Laura (Punk) Woods, Marshall (Charissa) Harden, Hank Lady, Shawn Harden; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several half siblings; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home. Private burial will take place in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations are requested to be sent to the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
