Mildred “Millie” Gaylon Thompson, 66, of Hoxie passed away May 8, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
Born July 19, 1956, in Little Rock; daughter of the late, Jesse and Loyce Johnson Rogers. Millie was united in marriage to Roger Thompson on April 3, 2007. She dedicated her life to taking care of people, she worked as a CNA in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center. She loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and her little T cup dog.
In addition to her parents, Mille is also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Alan Rogers; two sisters, Carol Golliver and Maddy Rogers; and her stepson, Kylie Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Roger of the home; one son, Billy (Rebekah) McGinty of Walnut Ridge; three daughters, Wendy (Burton) Winston of Walnut Ridge, Samantha (Matthew) Damron of Lafe, and Kara (William) Lynch of Walnut Ridge; one stepdaughter, Rhonda (Danny) Qualls of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Hattie (Jeremy) Flanery, Kenidi and Bentley Damron, Courtney Winston, Tyler and Ethan McGinty, Halie and Ashlie Burgess, and Blakley Lynch; three great grandchildren, Reese and Regan Flanery, and K.J. Davis; one brother, Larry Rogers of Warm Springs; two sisters, Patsy Hall of Paragould, and Sherrie Rogers of Pocahontas; several other half siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be May 11, 2023, in the Bryan Chapel at 12:00 P.M. Pallbearers will be Rickey, Kelvin, and Carroll Rogers, Kolbin Douget, Nathan Hill, and Ethan McGinty. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M.
