Imogene Wilma Friar, 98 of Walnut Ridge, died Mary 4, 2023 in the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.
Born September 29, 1924, in Walnut Ridge, daughter of the late Charlie and Eve Moody Bowers. Imogene was a homemaker but worked briefly at the local garment factory when it was in business. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willis Friar in 2008; two sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include her two cousins, Pat McManners and Rose Mary Thortan Peace; and many other relatives and friends.
Private interment of her cremains will be in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
