Authorities are reporting that Pocahontas Police Department officers found a man deceased at a home on Park St. in Pocahontas on Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the home around 3:54 am, as they found a white male dead inside of the home with apparent gunshot wounds.
Pocahontas Police Department investigators and Arkansas State Police CID were called to the scene to investigate the incident according to a press release.
One person has been taken custody following this incident according to the information released.
The identity of the victim and suspect have not been released by authorities.
