Lawrence County Clerk Brandi Parker announced a polling change for the upcoming school board election for those in the Promise Land district of Lawrence County. The change is for the upcoming May 9th for the Lawrence County School Board election.
According to the release on Tuesday, this change is for voters who typically vote at the Hoxie Service Center. For the upcoming school board election the polling location will be changed to the Lawrence County Meeting Room next door to the Lawrence County Library in Walnut Ridge.
The release states this will only be for the school board election with all other elections resuming at the Hoxie Service Center.
Early voting will still be held at the Lawrence County Court House in the County Clerk’s Office May 2nd-May 8th 8:00am to 6:00pm.
