The Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, MO is an annual event in the spring that celebrates the city of Marshfield and the state of Missouri.   There are opportunities for vendors to sell and customers to buy crafts, food, books and many other wonderful things.  There are fun activities for the entire family and special speakers are brought in that are both entertaining and educational.  People and events that have impacted our city, state, and nation are honored and remembered at a luncheon, dinner or special ceremony held during the event.

Descendants of Presidents are invited to come and share their stories. Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Cleveland, Ford, these are just a few of the Presidents that have been represented at the Cherry Blossom Festivities.

The 2023 festival will be held from April 27th- April 29th.

Special events to be held include, The Walton’s Luncheon which will feature speaker Michael Learned who played Olivia Walton on the hit television show The Walton’s. The Cherry Blossom Tea Party, An elegant tea party with speaker, Betty Ann Bruno who played a child munchkin in “Wizard of Oz” . The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum hosts, “Nellie’s Breakfast”-benefitting the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children’s Literature Festival on Friday, April 28th at 8 AM. Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson, Little House on the Prairie) will interview Hersha Parady (Alice Garvey, Little House on the Prairie).

A luncheon benefitting the Wilson’s Creek Battlefield Foundation will be held on Friday, April 28th at 12:30 PM at the Marshfield Assembly of God (1538 W. Washington). Speakers will be descendants of three United States presidents: Margaret Hayes Clark, Jay Garfield and Massee McKinley. They will be interviewed on stage by Dr. Bill Piston (noted Civil War historian).
