Join St. Bernards on February 9th for a day of all things heart care! We’ll have areas with helpful and free resources, screenings and education — all geared toward equipping you to have a healthy heart and life.
- FREE Health Screening including two heart screenings:
- Blood Pressure
- Height and Weight
- BMI
- Anemia
- Glucose
- Hemoglobin A1C (3 month average blood sugar)
- Lipid Panel (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides)
- Colon Cancer Screening
- ABI Test (a simple test screen for Peripheral Artery Disease)
- Carotid Artery Ultrasound (a simple test to screen for blockage or narrowing of the Carotid Arteries)
- Education on everything heart related from Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease to prevention and more
- Grab & Go, Heart-Healthy Breakfast or Lunch
- Ask the Experts– we will have physicians and clinicians present all day to answer any questions
- Basic CPR and AED Training
- Educational booths on other services available to the community
