According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were arrested last week in Izard County.
Robert Nelson, 52 of Wiseman, was arrested on January 9 on a petition to revoke probation warrant out of Benton County.
Timothy Morris, 58 of Calico Rock, was arrested on January 9 for criminal trespass. Morris was also placed on a parole hold by Arkansas Community Corrections.
Austin Taylor, 21 of Sulphur Rock, was held on January 9 on an Independence County warrant for furnishing prohibited articles.
Tyler Sherrell, 24 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on January 9 for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Ricky Rushing, 22 of Oxford, was transported from Hernando MS on January 11 for two failure to appear warrants out of Izard County Circuit Court and on failure to appear warrant out of Izard County District Court. Rushing was originally charged in Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance and internet stalking of a child.
Russell Blevins, 57 of Salem, was arrested on January 11 for possession of a controlled substance.
Christina Pennington, 50 of Melbourne, was arrested on January 11 for disorderly conduct, obstructing governmental operations, interference with emergency communications, and resisting arrest.
Lacey Adams, 38 of Batesville, was arrested on January 12 for careless
driving, DWI, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
Charles Grice, 37 of Franklin, was arrested on January 12 for driving on a suspended driver’s license and a failure to appear warrant out of the Izard County District Court.
Simon Ducker, 43 of Pineville, was arrested on January 14 on a contempt of court warrant out of the Izard County District Court.
Krista White, 43 of Apopka Florida, was arrested on January 14 for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
Carole Brewer, 34 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on January 15. Brewer is awaiting formal theft related charges.
Andrew Beyer, 37 of Yellville, was arrested on January 16. Beyer is awaiting formal drug related charges.
Melody Howell, 30 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on January 16 for domestic battery 3rd degree.
On January 11, charges were upgraded for Clayton Smith, 60 of Calico Rock, who was arrested on December 30 2022, for misdemeanor DWI. This charge was upgraded to a felony DWI along with being charged as a habitual offender for being previously found guilty of six or more prior DWI’s.
