Authorities say an Evening Shade man has been charged with multiple felony counts as a result of breaking into a chicken house and cutting out and stealing the wiring.
Independence County Sheriff’s Office investigated the burglary and theft.
The chicken house was located on Antioch Road in northern Independence County.
Timothy Wade Tucker, age 33, could be placed at the scene according to investigators and that wiring from the chicken house was sold by Tucker in Newport.
Tucker admitted to the burglary and theft.
Tucker is also charged with second-degree criminal mischief for the damage to the chicken house while cutting out the building’s wiring.
Tucker has numerous charges of felony stealing in both Missouri and Arkansas dating back to 2011.
Tucker is currently in the Independence County Jail under a $26,350 bond.
