Roger Gail Johnson, 70 of Hoxie; passed away December 28, 2022; in the Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born July 25, 1952, in Jonesboro, son of the late, J.M. and Ellen Pauline Phillips Johnson. He was employed for 21 years at Riceland Foods in Jonesboro. Roger enjoyed hunting, and spending time outdoors and socializing at the coffee and donut shop.
He is preceded by his parents; and two brothers, Tommy, and Larry.
Survivors include his wife, Jeri of the home; two daughters, Gail Johnson of Doniphan, MO, and SeAnn Fryberger of Walnut Ridge; one step-daughter, Amie Williams of Hoxie; and a step-son, Cody Davidson of Swifton; five grandchildren, Melissa, Veronica, Bradly, Stormie and Katelynn; four step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Tinsley, Aspen, and Asher; five step great grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Johnson of Bono, Dale Johnson of Hoxie, and Junior Briner of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Geneva Waldrupe of Hoxie and Paula Binkley of Ironton, MS; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 2 P.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park with Junior Briner officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Fryberger, Pete Woodard, Brett, Richard and Dale Johnson, Katelynn Dillard and Junior Waldrupe. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
Visitation Saturday, from 12 P.M. till 1:45 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home.
