On November 17th, around 9 pm, Jonesboro Police responded to an unknown disturbance in the 300 block of Sagewood Drive. Officers discovered that a shooting had occurred, and the victim, 18-year-old Christopher Rudley, had been transported to an area hospital by a personal vehicle. A short time later, he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives arrived to begin their investigation into the events surrounding this shooting incident. A 14-year-old juvenile male was arrested and taken to the Craighead County Juvenile Detention Center. He is facing charges of 2nd-degree murder and theft by receiving.
