According to Fulton County authorities a woman is behind bars after going to a Probation and Parole visit under the influence.

According to a report from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, on Oct. 5, 49-year-old Nikki Camp appeared to be under the influence and was tested failing for methamphetamine.

While Camp was in the visit, another agent noticed a small child had been left unattended in Camp’s vehicle. 

A search of the vehicle revealed a small green pouch at the feet of the child which contained a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine. 

The child was removed from the vehicle after which a fake bottle of urine was found under the driver’s seat. 

A home search was conducted a short time later and multiple items of paraphernalia was found within reach and easily accessible to children living in the home. 

As a result, Camp has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to use methamphetamine, a class D felony and endangering the welfare of a minor in the first degree, a class D felony.

Bond for Camp was set for $10,000.
