Billy Ray Duncan, 74, of Black Rock passed away September 15, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Born February 14, 1948, in Strawberry to Bill and Ora Stalnaker Duncan. He was united in marriage on August 28, 1991, to Linda Brandon Duncan. He loved playing poker, squirrel, and deer hunting, and going to yard sales. He retired from Fritz Fertilizer and was of Southern faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Shawn McCarrol; and two brothers, John, and Luke Duncan.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Duncan of the home; a brother, Otis Duncan of Louisiana; a sister, Marie Dunahay of Batesville; two sons, Jason (Summer) Duncan of Smithville, and Scott (Nakiesha) Jackson of Walnut Ridge; four daughters, Casey (Shannon) Passmore of Smithville, Kim (Joshua) Phillips of Walnut Ridge, Amber Matthews of Smithville, and Amanda (Jimmy) Roberts of Black Rock; 22 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday, September 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Bryan Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be Gage Passmore, Jake Ingram, Joshua Phillips, Samuel Westbrook, Dakota Jackson, and Shannon Passmore. Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till the time of service.
