Old Independence Regional Museum will be hosting “Fall Family Day” on Saturday, September 17 from 9am-2pm on the museum grounds. During the event, admission to the museum and the activities are free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.
A variety of fall-themed crafts and activities will offer children of all ages an engaging hands-on learning experience. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy flintknapping, crafts, demonstrations, and old-fashioned games. We will also have a Civil War campsite set up!
Flintknappers will be setup from 9am-8pm.
Expert volunteers will be on hand to assist with activities.
