Shortly after 5:30am on Tuesday the Lawrence County Dispatch notified Black Rock Fire, ProMed Ambulance and Lawrence County Deputies of a reported medical emergency on a train near Black Rock.
The train had stopped near the crossing on Hwy 361 just outside Black Rock after reports of an unresponsive conductor on board.
The unidentified person was taken from the train and transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
