Yesterday, the Independence County Sheriffs Office along with multiple agencies executed an operation titled “Ice River”. During this operation we have recovered over 400 grams of Meth., a stolen Polaris Ranger, a stolen trailer, a stolen travel trailer, two stolen guns, a stolen 4 wheeler, a stolen truck from out of county, and a battery pack with the solar charging system along with stolen batteries.
This was a joint effort between multiple agencies: Independence County Sheriff’s Department, Stone County Sheriff’s Department, Mountain View Police Department, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Game and Fish, Arkansas Department of Corrections Calico Dog Tracking Team, The 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, and Probation and Parole.
We want to remind the community that we are still working for them; one 911 call, one vehicle stop, one search warrant, one investigation or one helping hand at a time.
- Michelle Lynn Mendenhall: Possession of Controlled Substance, Meth > 2 grams < 10 grams and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
- Jason Garrison: Delivery of Meth. > 10 grams < 200 grams, Trafficking meth > 200 grams, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and theft by receiving.
- Candice Pugh: Delivery of meth > 10 grams < 200 grams, and delivery of meth > 2 grams < 10 grams.
