Authorities say a Calico Rock woman has been arrested for robbing a bank. Crystal Sherr, age 51, robbed First Security Bank Branch in the Mountain Home Walmart on Tuesday afternoon.
Sherr approached a teller and handed her a note saying she needed $1,000 and she had a bomb inside her purse and someone was watching and not to call the police.
She was arrested by Arkansas State Police a short time later in Calico Rock. $784 of the $1,000 was recovered. Sherr is charged with felony aggravated robbery and a felony count of theft of property.
Her bond was set at $25,000
