Search efforts were called off at dark for a missing man that fell off a boat in the Black River on Saturday and never resurfaced.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dive Team, Lynn Fire Department, Arkansas Game and Fish and Strawberry Fire Departments all responded to the area upriver from Coffey Access outside Lynn.
Teams used sonar equipment to try and locate the body but were unsuccessful as darkness set in.
Authorities will resume the search on Sunday morning. Additional support from the Arkansas Game and Fish along with the LCSO Dive Team, Strawberry and Lynn Fire Departments will be back on scene Sunday.
The identity of the missing man has not been released by authorities.
