Thomas Andrew Clarke, age 72, died in his home in Englewood, Colorado on June 30, 2022. Tom was born on May 27, 1950 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He graduated from Williford High school, The University of Arkansas and received his Master’s degree from Arkansas State University.
He retired in 2002 from the United States Air Force after a 30 year career in both active and reserve duty. He retired as a ‘full bird’ Colonel and was extremely proud of his service to his country.
He retired from the Small Business Administration in 2015 as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist in the Natural Resources Program, a total of 37 years in Federal Government.
He loved gardening, his Arkansas farm, his 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle, watching westerns, fireworks/ anything patriotic, and yelling ‘Woo Pig Sooie’ for his beloved Razorbacks.
His passions included his love for God above all else, followed by his love and devotion to his entire family. He had the utmost pride in his four daughters, their husbands and his seven grandchildren. He and his wife, Tanya, celebrated 49 years of a wonderful marriage last March 16th.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Pearl Clarke. He is survived by his wife, Tanya and their four daughters Kimberly (Jarrod) McMillin, Kristen Elise Reaves, Caitlin (Cason) Cousatte, Chelsey Leigh Clarke, and seven grandchildren: Andrew and Mackenzie McMillin, Annabelle and Olive Cousatte and Clarke, Luke and Finnleigh Reaves. He is also survived by his sister Sharron (Larry) Ozburn and their children.
His memorial service will be held at the Cherry Vista Church of Christ, 5305 South Havana, Englewood, Colorado on Friday July 15th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery with full honors.
