Authorities say two men were arrested in Portia, after a carjacking in West Plains, Missouri today.
West Plains Police stated in a media release that a woman was leaving her place of employment on Thursday morning, when two men armed with guns robbed her of her keys and cell phone.
The release stated the man told the woman to get on the ground as they stole her SUV.
Authorities in surrounding counties and the Arkansas State Police were notified of the carjacking.
Authorities spotted the suspect vehicle and began a pursuit in Lawrence County that ended in the Portia area with the suspects fleeing on foot.
The suspects were arrested according to the media release and the woman’s vehicle recovered.
The identities of the suspects have not been released.
