Bobby Jerold Fisher “Flop”, 87 of Smithville, AR passed away June 14, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born August 28, 1934, in Walnut Ridge; son of the late, Earl and Ruby Archer Fisher. He married the love of his life, Shelby Glowdean Bookout on March 2, 1959. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He worked as a Truck driver for Fisher’s Moving and Storage. Bobby Jerold was an avid outdoorsman, a cattle farmer, a home body, and he enjoyed tinkering with mechanical things.
He is preceded by his parents; his wife, Shelby in 2011; his brothers, Harold, W.E., and Bud Fisher.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Sipa (John) of Jonesboro; two granddaughters, Britney Sipa and Lindsey Stitts (Johnny) of Jonesboro; six great grandchildren; a brother, Freddy Fisher of Newport; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 12 P.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. till 12 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie.
