Reports show a Hardy man was arrested over the weekend after he fell through the ceiling of a convenience store on Saturday morning.
A Craighead County Deputy was at the Kum & Go on Hwy 63 in Bono around 2:38 a.m. June 11th buying a beverage when the clerk stated a man was hiding in the restroom.
The clerk stated that the male said he was being chased by someone when he entered the store.
The clerk told the deputy he was “still in there” according to the report.
The deputy stated a rumbling noise could be heard coming from the ceiling above the kitchen.
As the deputy began investigating the noise, a male subject fell from the ceiling above the kitchen area and landed on his feet.
The deputy stated in his report that he recognized the man as Andrew David Marcinowski, age 31, from prior incidents.
Marcinowski then stated that a male subject chased him from Walmart on Parker Road in Jonesboro to Kum & Go in Bono on foot.
The suspect was asked who was chasing him and why, he responded to the deputy saying he “messing with his girlfriend.”
The deputy noted he observed erratic behavior, dilated pupils, and profuse sweating from the suspect.
Marcinowski was arrested and charged with public intoxication and criminal mischief, he was taken to the Craighead County Detention Center.
