June 12th will mark 5 years since the death of Lt. Patrick N Weatherford.
Thanks to Modern Woodmen of America, our community, and the City of Newport, we have placed a memorial flag pole and plaque (still being made at this time) outside of the Police Department to honor and remember Lt. Weatherford.
Sunday, June 12th, 2022 @ 6 p.m. in front of the Newport Police Department we will host a memorial type service in remembrance of Lt. Weatherford. We welcome the public to join us for a prayer and a time to look back on the memories we enjoyed with Patrick. There is limited parking at the Police Department, but you may park in the District Court parking lot across the street from the City Hall.
