Authorities say a Sharp County man has been arrested and charged with two counts of rape, a class Y felony.
The arrest cam after Sharp County investigators were contacted by the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division regarding a possible sexual assault of a juvenile female.
The suspect was identified as 66-year-old Steven Douglas Gill of Ash Flat.
During an interview Gill admitted to the allegations and was placed under arrest by authorities.
A $250,000 cash only bond was set. He is currently in the Sharp County Detention Center.
