John Pettie has a record of holding criminals accountable and working to protect our families. John is the only candidate with experience putting criminals behind bars, protecting our communities, and helping the victims of crime and their families.
John is a deputy prosecuting attorney for the 3rd Judicial District. As a prosecutor, John handles a variety of tough cases such as homicide, sexual assault, and property crimes. He is also the City Attorney for Newport.
John’s outstanding legal work is recognized throughout the state, which is why he was recently named by “Arkansas Life” as one of the Top 20 Lawyers in Arkansas. John is the father of two children and lives in Newport.
